Emission calculations are consistent with the regulations as laid down in the Kyoto Protocol formulated by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). The national objective for each individual country regarding greenhouse gas emissions for the period 2008-2012 are laid down in the Kyoto Protocol.
