Penalties
Punishments include: prison sentences, detention (incl. detention as a substitute for non-payment of a fine) and youth detention (incl. youth detention as a substitute for non-payment of a fine), fines (more than 340 euro), community service and disqualification from driving.
Non-punitive measures include: detainment under a hospital order, placement in an institution for systematic offenders, confiscation and forfeiture of illegally obtained profits or advantages.
