Unemployment

The unemployed labour force as a percentage of the total labour force. The unemployed labour force comprises all people who do not work at all (or work less than twelve hours a week), are readily available for the labour market and actively seeking a job.

The results published in this article are based on the Labour Force Survey (EBB), a continuous survey among Dutch residents. The EBB is a sample survey and consequently the results are subject to a margin of error. Year-on-year changes call for a cautious interpretation.
