The average costs of education per pupil/student in private and subsidised education. Main contributors are central government, the private sector, households and organisations abroad. Spending on students in tertiary education is calculated including and excluding R&D. Thus, the various sectors in education can be compared with one another. Part-time pupils are converted to full-timers on the basis of the study load.
