Short-term and long-term care leave

• Short-term care leave: a maximum of ten days paid leave (at least 70 percent of daily wage) per year to care for a dependant.
• Long-term care leave: a maximum of six times the weekly working hours unpaid leave to care for a dependant who has a life-threatening illness.

In addition to care leave, employees can also take emergency leave, leave for special circumstances, compensation leave, holiday leave or unpaid leave.
