Payments by the government
Two categories are distinguished:
- Benefits covered by social contributions (income support benefits, i.e. benefits received in case of unemployment, illness or disability and old age and surviving relatives pensions.
- Benefits and allowances funded by the general government, i.e. income support benefits, child benefits, study grants and rent subsidies.
