The classification by degree of urbanisation is based on the number of addresses (OAD) in the respondent’s neighbourhood. For each address in a particular neighbourhood, the OAD is calculated in a circular area with a radius of 1 km surrounding that address. The OAD of a neighbourhood is the average value of all OADs of all addresses within that neighbourhood.
