After correction for seasonal effects, consumer confidence is -27 in November. This is about the same as in October. Slightly more negative opinion on economic climate

After correction for seasonal effects, consumers were slightly more pessimistic about the economic climate than last month. Just as last month, they were more negative about the economy in the coming twelve months. Their opinion on the economy in the last twelve months has remained the same.

Willingness to buy almost unchanged

Willingness to buy is -22 in November after adjustment for seasonal effects. This is around the same level as in October. Willingness to buy is based on consumers’ opinions on the financial position of their own household and on whether they think it is a good time to invest in expensive items. Consumers are slightly more sombre about their own financial situation in the last twelve months and slightly more optimistic about the situation in the coming twelve months. They remained just as negative about the purchase of expensive items like furniture.
