The figures concerning income support of the three most recent months are based on an estimation and therefore provisional. After three month these figures will be replaced by definitive figures.
The monthly and quarterly figures represent the situation at the end of a period; the annual figures are averages.

Benefits (related to) income support
Benefits under the Income Support Act (Abw, until 2003), the Act on Labour and Income Support (WWB, from 2004), Participation Act (from 2015), the Act on Income Provisions for Older and Partially Disabled Employees (IOAW) and the Act on Income Provisions for Older and Partially Disabled Former Self-employed (IOAZ).
The benefits under the IOAW an IOAZ are benefits related to income support benefits.


Benefits income support
The number of benefits (at the end of the month under review) under the Income Support Act (AWB), the Act on Labour and Income Support (WWB) and Participation Act.

The Income Support Act (Abw) was replaced by the Act on Labour and Income Support (WWB) as of January 1st, 2004.

As of January 1st, 2015 the WWB has merged witrh the Participation Act.

From October 1st, 2004 until January 1st, 2012 the number of benefits under the WWB included the number of benefits under the Investment in Young People Act (WIJ).

The Investment in Young People Act (WIJ) came into force as of October 1st, 2009 and was rescinded January 1st, 2012.

The number of benefits under the Income Support Act (Abw), the Act on Labour and Income Support (WWB) and the Participation Act for persons who have not yet reached the AOW-age.

The AOW (Old Age Pensions Act) is a national insurance and entitles all residents at an advanced age (the AOW-age) to a (state)pension.

The number of benefits under the Income Support Act (AWB), the Act on Labour and Income Support (WWB) and the Participation Act for persons who have reached the AOW-age.
