Leisure and culture

Culture is a wide-ranging theme covered by Statistics Netherlands in various statistics. There are figures on participation in culture, information about employment, the financial results and the regional spread in cultural activities. These four aspects are used to describe the constituent parts of culture: cultural heritage in the widest sense (monuments, museums, archives, libraries, media (books, press, film, radio, and television), fine arts and performing arts.
