What is included in the motor vehicles and motorcycles trade?

The car and motorcycle branch includes:
- imports of new cars and commercial vehicles;
- trade in new and used motorcycles, cars and commercial vehicles;
- trade in parts and accessories for motorcycles, cars and commercial vehicles;
- repairs of motorcycles and cars;
- petrol service stations.
Statistics Netherlands publishes data on operating results and turnover developments of companies in the car and motorcycle trade. Figures on rental and leasing of cars and other means of transport are included in the theme Financial and business services.
