Why does Statistics Netherlands publish few data on neighbourhoods?

The data on neighbourhoods usually come from registers (e.g. the population register). However, Statistics Netherlands collects data through surveys. So the sample of people per neighbourhood is often  too small. The averages of the survey samples are correct for the Netherlands as a whole, but they may be misleading for individual neighbourhoods (e.g. young, old, rich or poor households). More variables are published in the Regional Key figures.
