Investment climate improving
According to February’s Investment Radar, the investment climate in the Netherlands improved relative to January 2015. Since the publication of December’s Investment Radar, new data have become available for all indicators. Four indicators improved, one deteriorated and one remained stable.
The growth of exports was more substantial than last month. Dutch year-on-year share prices rose more rapidly than in the previous month. The capacity utilisation rate in manufacturing industry improved marginally and Dutch manufacturers were slightly more positive about their order positions. Consumer confidence, on the other hand, deteriorated somewhat. The interbank interest rate remained stable.
