Investment climate deteriorating marginally in September
According to September’s Investment Radar, the investment climate in the Netherlands has deteriorated marginally. Since the publication of August’s Investment Radar, new data have become available for five of the six indicators. One indicator improved, three deteriorated and one remained unchanged. There was no new information about the capacity utilisation rate.
Exports grew more substantially than in the preceding month. On the other hand, year-on-year, Dutch share prices rose by less than in August, manufacturers were considerably more negative about their order positions as well, and consumer confidence fell marginally. The interbank interest rate remained virtually unchanged.
