The Wage Tax and National Insurance Contributions Act (WVA) promotes tax relief for employees of companies and organisations. Initially, the act only applied to the mbo apprenticeship-based learning track, but in recent years the act also applies to other learning-on-the-job programmes and different levels of vocational education. Tax relief is not deducted from the total costs involved in apprenticeship training.
