Biofuels used for road vehicles are motor fuels made of relatively recently lifeless vegetable or animal material. In the Netherlands by far most of these fuels are not used in a pure form, but mixed in with regular petrol or diesel. It is then no longer recognisable as biofuel at the petrol pump.
