As from 1 January 2005 the library of Statistics Netherlands (CBS) is no longer accessible to the public. The collection remains available for scientific research but a prior appointment is imperative.The entire collection of CBS publications can be accessed on the Internet.
The online catalogue provides an overview of the entire selection of the library. You can search for relevant publications by entering a title, author, subject or institution. Please contact one of our staff members if an error message prevents you from finding the relevant information.
Statistics Netherlands has a library department in The Hague as well as in Heerlen. In the The Hague department all publications by Statistics Netherlands are available but it also has the most extensive collection of national and international statistical publications in the Netherlands. The collection includes publications issued by other statistical offices and by international organisations such as Eurostat, the OECD and the United Nations.
Recent publications by Statistics Netherlands can also be found in the university libraries, scientific libraries and in a large number of public libraries. Publications by Statistics Netherlands can also be consulted in the library of the "Haus der Niederlande" (Münster).
