The regular license plan is meant for small scale use. A maximum of 100 application users is permitted under the Regular Licensing Plan. For greater than 100 application users, a corporate license must be obtained.
The regular license plan entitles the customer to the following:
- Use of all licensed Blaise software in accordance with the terms of use in the Blaise License Agreement.
- Free updates to the software.
- Limited support through email concerning installation, syntax, functionality, appropriate use, and other technical questions.
Under the Regular License Plan, license fees for the Basic Blaise System and the optional BCP depend on the number of developers and the number of application users. Developers and application users are described under Usage-based Licensing. The BCP is considered a global add-on option to the Blaise license, and when this option is selected, the license fees for all developers and application users are "with BCP" fees.
The price of a license for the Basic system and a BCP license depends on the next three issues:
- The number of concurrent users of the software for development, analysis and management as defined above under Usage-based Licensing.
- The interview method (CADE, CAPI, CATI).
- The number of application users. Application users refers to the number of workstations/laptops upon which a Blaise for Windows application is installed.
The price for a license for the basic system per year can be computed with the following formula:
License price = price for application development plus price for application usage
where developers and application users are defined as described above under Usage-based Licensing. At least one developer fee must be included in each Regular License.
The price for application development, analyses and management per year can be derived from the table below. All prices are in euro, per concurrent developer, per year.
